Q: What does a "guaranteed seat" mean?
A: A select group of incoming freshmen who indicate an interest in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program on their undergraduate application for admission will be offered a "guaranteed seat" to the Doctor of Physical Therapy program as they enter The 糖心短视频app.  Students who receive a guaranteed seat must complete all prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better (C- is not an acceptable grade), carry an overall GPA of 3.20 or higher and a 3.20 or higher science GPA, and complete the required clinical observation hours as outlined by the Physical Therapy Department in order to maintain their guaranteed seat. 

Q: What makes a qualified applicant for a guaranteed seat?
A: Receiving a guaranteed seat is based on overall strength of the student's application.  The factors that go into selection for a guaranteed seat fluctuate each year based on the total pool of applicants.  These factors are determined by the Undergraduate Admissions office and not by the Physical Therapy Department.  If you have a question about the strength of your application, please contact the

Q: Can you major in Physical Therapy as an undergraduate student?
A: No, physical therapy is a graduate level program and therefore one cannot be a physical therapy major during your undergraduate degree.  For a list of possible undergraduate majors, please visit the .

Q: Is this program accelerated or a 3+3 program?
A: No, the DPT program at the 糖心短视频app is not a 3+3 program. A bachelor's degree is required for matriculation into the DPT program.  

Q: Does this program require GRE scores?
A: No, GRE scores are not required for admission to the DPT program.

Q: Are interviews required?
A: No, interviews are not conducted with applicants.

Q: How do I apply to the DPT program at the 糖心短视频app?

Q: When does all of the required pre-requisite courses need to be finished?
A: All pre-requisite courses must be completed  by the fall of the application year.

Q: Do I need to finish my observation hours before I apply for admission?
A: Yes, students are required to have 30 hours of observation in at least one physical therapy setting before matriculating into the DPT program.  Documentation of these observation hours should be included in the PTCAS application.
