Professional Licensure Disclosures

Effective July 1, 2024, updated requires institutions of higher education to determine and disclose whether academic programs that lead to professional licensure or certification meet the educational requirements for licensure/certification in its own state, and each state/territory in which it is enrolling students in distance education programs. In some cases, institutions may be unable to enroll students from states which it has determined an academic program does not meet that state’s educational requirements for licensure.

The 糖心短视频app offers several academic programs that prepare students for professional licensure and certification that is required for employment.  States vary in what professions they require to be licensed or certified, the educational requirements for professional licensure or certification, and how licensure or certification is acquired and maintained. These requirements may change over time, and changes may impact the program’s ability to prepare students to meet state requirements. Students should know that:

  • As the University’s programs are generally designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, completion of a 糖心短视频app program may not meet education requirements for a license or certification in another state.
  • In addition to educational preparation, some states have additional licensure or certification requirements, which may include an earned degree from an accredited program. Others may require individuals to complete additional coursework, additional fieldwork, background checks, passage of additional state licensing exams, additional fees, or other requirements.
  • Admission into, or completion of, 糖心短视频app programs does not guarantee that a student will obtain a license or certification. State professional licensing boards make the ultimate decision as to whether or not an individual will be eligible for licensure based on the rules and regulations in place at the time the individual submits their application for licensure.
