Public Health

Welcome to the Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the 糖心短视频app.  Our mission is to provide a community-based and practice-oriented education that is multidisciplinary in nature and rooted in the Jesuit liberal arts tradition. Students are prepared with the knowledge and skills in health education and public health competencies to serve as health educators and for further graduate study in public health and the health sciences.

The curriculum is grounded in health behavior change theories, public health planning frameworks as well as social justice and public health perspectives.  The curriculum supports an integrated approach to learning including community-based learning, internship and research experiences.  Upon graduation, students are eligible to take the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam; a competency-based examination by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.

The University is "animated by the spiritual vision and the tradition of excellence characteristic of the Society of Jesus".  The program faculty and staff are devoted to students' personal and professional development as they grow in wisdom, seek excellence and serve others.  Students are educated to embody the spirit of "men and women for others".  Emphasis is placed on building skills to understand diversity and cultural differences that influence health and well-being.
